Cameo Village is located in the heart of the Town of Bassendean, just 10 kilometres north-east of Perth and approximately 5 kilometres from the vineyards and other attractions of the Swan Valley. The nearby Bassendean town centre provides Cameo’s residents with their daily requirements together with a range of social and sporting amenites including the Town of Bassendean’s main administration and community facilities including the public library and Seniors' Community Centre. In the adjacent area is the bowling club, tennis club and summer outdoor cinema. Bassendean enjoys a 5.4 kilometre frontage to the Swan River along which are sites that for thousands of years were used by Aboriginal people for ceremonial purposes. For those who enjoy the outdoors there are unlimited opportunities to take relaxing walks along the river or in one of many other nearby reserves. Transport
Cameo Village is well served by metropolitan train and bus services. At the front gate of the village is a bus stop that provides transport to the newly upgraded Bassendean train station 700 metres down the road. From here you have access to the entire Transperth rail network. In the other direction the bus will take you to the Galleria Shopping Centre and other linking destinations. The Perth Domestic Airport is just 8 minutes away by car and the International Airport terminal is 12 minutes. Shopping Daily requirements can be obtained from the nearby Bassendean Shopping Centre while the Galleria and its surrounding bulky goods showrooms to satisfy your every retail need are just 4 kilometres away. The Midland Gate S/C and associated outlets offers an alternative shopping destination. For coffee and cake you will never be short of options with Old Perth Road Bassendean and the James Street café strip in the nearby historical townsite of Guildford just minutes away.
